Our Story
Okuyan Kunst Studio was born out of a deep love for handcraft and a fascination with Norwegian nature and culture. Founded by Fatma Okuyan in Kristiansand, Norway, our studio creates unique handmade pieces that blend traditional techniques with modern aesthetics.
Every item we make tells a story — of patience, of careful hands, and of the textures and colors found in the Norwegian landscape. From soft wool felt figures to delicate ceramics, each piece is crafted with intention and care.
Our Philosophy
We believe in slow making. In a world of mass production, we choose to create one piece at a time — thoughtfully, sustainably, and with deep respect for the materials we use. We source quality wool and natural materials, and we take pride in the imperfections that make every handmade object truly one of a kind.

Our wool products are offered under the brand WoolFelt Norway — a line inspired by Norwegian folk traditions, seasonal colors, and the quiet beauty of Scandinavian everyday life.
Workshops
We also offer hands-on felting workshops in our Kristiansand studio. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced crafter, our small-group sessions are designed to be personal, relaxed, and inspiring.
